Search Console counts AI Mode clicks inside its Web report, mixed in with every other search. It can't show you which answers named you.
Google says AI Mode can use query fan-out: it runs several related searches across subtopics, then writes one answer. That's why it can cite a wider set of pages than a normal results page.
To be one of those pages, a page needs to be in Google Search and allowed to show a snippet. Google says there are no extra technical requirements.
