Where does Copilot get its answers?
From Bing. Microsoft says Copilot turns the question into a short search, sends it to Bing and writes its answer from the results. If Bing can't find a page of yours, Copilot can't either.
Can I see Copilot citations without Visibian?
Partly. Bing Webmaster Tools' AI Performance report counts how often your pages are cited and shows sample searches. It doesn't show the answers, or who else was named. Visibian does.
Does Visibian use an official Copilot API?
No, because Microsoft offers none for Copilot's answers. Visibian reads each answer as a buyer would see it, through a search-results provider. If it can't read an answer, it skips that question for the run.
